Fabien Delaube

Fabien, a French painter born in 1973, lives and works in Paris. His favorite theme, the mask, evokes traditional African cultures, Ancient Greece, theater, wrestling, piracy, and even the Chinese Cultural Revolution. But above all, it questions our identity: Are we like Fabien’s masked faces, whose overlapping layers make it impossible to capture a single expression? Joy or despair? Hypocrisy or honesty?
Each of Fabien’s works invites us to reflect on the many facets of our personality.
