Oyakata Satomi

Oyakata, a Japanese artist and fashion designer born in 1971, lives and works in Tokyo. He developed a creative universe based on the concept “wa + yô + play” (Japanese tradition + the West + fun), under the slogan UNCOOL IS COOL. In 1998, this concept gave birth to the brand PUNK DRUNKERS, recognizable by its iconic character “Aitsu” (“that guy”), a stylized and expressive face featured on numerous paintings, clothes, and merchandise.
